How to deal with a difficult yoga pose by Wendy Pelletier, RYT

Step by step, one minute at a time, one day at a time, one asana at a time. This is the lesson which I am currently learning. To slow down, appreciate each moment and experience it for what it is, without expectation. When we eliminate the expectation of the outcome, we stay open to the possibilities. When we see an asana, no matter how difficult we may perceive it to be, take it one step at a time. Follow your teacher’s instruction, and just experience the moment. Maybe that headstand is very possible, but you won’t know what can be if you don’t allow the experience to take place. I have found this to be true both on and off the mat. Namaste.
